Diskless Remote Boot in Linux (DRBL) provides a diskless or systemless environment for client machines. It works on Debian, Mandriva, Red Hat, Fedora, and SuSE. Unlike LTSP, it uses distributed hardware resources and makes it possible for clients to fully access local hardware. It also includes Clonezilla, a partitioning and disk cloning utility similar to Symantec Ghost.

Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Aug/20). The Linux kernel was updated to 3.10.7-1. The drbl package was updated to 2.4.28-drbl, and clonezilla was updated to 3.5.18-drbl1. Partclone was updated to 0.2.66.drbl1. A better disk cache mechanism is used. syslinux was updated to 5.10 and Gdisk to 0.8.7-1. Language files were updated. A bug where the sdap1 device name was not the partition of an sda disk was fixed. A bug where the postrun action was not selectable in expert mode was fixed.
